What is SONOQUEEN
SONOQUEEN is the latest skin tightening device utilizing HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound). HIFU energy is also utilized in cancer treatment.
Lift-up machines utilizing HIFU energy are characterized by their ability to avoid damaging the skin surface.
Among these devices, SONOQUEEN employs original cartridges that accurately deliver heat of 60–70°C from the dermal layer to the SMAS layer (superficial musculoaponeurotic system), which causes sagging. While an immediate contraction effect occurs at the treated area, collagen production continues over 1–3 months, resulting in both internal lift-up and skin tightening effects.
At our clinic, trained practitioners carefully perform treatments using three types of cartridges—4.5 mm, 3.0 mm, and 2.0 mm—selected according to the treatment area and target depth.

4.5 mm: Targets the SMAS layer (superficial musculoaponeurotic system)!
Thermal energy is delivered to the SMAS layer, a fascia that supports the skin beneath the dermal layer. Damaged proteins contract tightly, tightening the laxity in both the dermal and SMAS layers, resulting in a lift-up effect.
3.0 mm: Activates collagen in the dermal layer!
Thermal energy damages fibers within the dermal layer, but the wound-healing process that repairs the damaged fibers activates collagen regeneration, enhancing firmness and elasticity. A further tightening effect is felt over the course of one month.
2.0 mm: Eye Shadow HIFU!
HIFU thermal energy is delivered to delicate areas with thin skin and curves, such as around the eyes, under the eyebrows, and the forehead, which were difficult to treat with conventional technology.

Eye Shadow HIFU
At our clinic, we use a dedicated Eye Shadow HIFU cartridge with a 5.0 mm irradiation opening to perform detailed treatment around the eyes and forehead. It is possible to irradiate up to the very edge of the bone for wrinkles and sagging above and below the eyes and eyebrows, as well as on the forehead. SONOQUEEN’s unique cartridge, which delivers thermal energy to a depth of 2.0 mm, enables accurate irradiation even in areas with thin skin or near nerves. Patients who wish to avoid injection or filler treatments around the eyes can receive this treatment with confidence.
