LimeLight (Light Therapy)

Limelight is a skincare treatment device that emits IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) to address various skin concerns including spots, freckles, dullness, redness, telangiectasia, and loss of skin firmness and elasticity.
With repeated treatments, your skin will be transformed into brighter, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.

Recommended for those who:

  • Concerned about spots and freckles
  • Concerned about redness and vascular dilation
  • Concerned about enlarged pores
  • Want to improve firmness and elasticity
  • Have multiple skin concerns

What is Limelight

Limelight is a treatment device that emits light containing multiple wavelengths, unlike lasers that output a single wavelength. It responds not only to melanin but also to hemoglobin (blood pigment), making it effective for various skin concerns including spots, dullness, facial redness (telangiectasia), post-acne redness, enlarged pores, and loss of firmness. It is one of the fundamental treatment devices in aesthetic dermatology.

A single handpiece allows adjustment of wavelength, pulse width, and cooling temperature settings, enabling customization for each individual’s skin concerns. Additionally, cooling can be performed simultaneously with irradiation, reducing discomfort.

While many light treatment devices have been developed for Caucasian skin, Limelight was jointly developed by Japanese physicians and Cutera, Inc. with consideration for Japanese skin (including both fair and darker skin tones).

After Limelight treatment, you can apply makeup immediately with no downtime, allowing you to receive treatment without affecting your daily life.
With repeated treatments once a month, you will achieve beautiful skin with improved clarity and firmness.
At our clinic, we also propose combinations with other skin rejuvenation treatments tailored to each patient’s skin condition.
