What is ProWave LX?

Many people struggle with unwanted hair. While it has always been a concern for women, an increasing number of men are also becoming more beauty-conscious and seeking hair removal for beards and leg hair.
The mechanism of hair removal is as follows:Hair removal is achieved by irradiating the hair with light or lasers that are absorbed by black pigment, generating heat and destroying the cells responsible for hair production (the bulge and hair matrix cells).
Hair follows a replacement cycle (hair cycle) consisting of (1) Anagen (growth phase) → (2) Catagen (regression phase) → (3) Telogen (resting phase).Hair in the (1) Anagen phase that reacts sufficiently to the irradiation is removed, but hair in the (2) Catagen and (3) Telogen phases is not.
Therefore,Efficient hair removal results can be achieved by repeating treatments in accordance with the hair cycle (once every 1 to 2 months).

Our clinic uses a light-based hair removal device called “ProWave LX.” The feature of “ProWave LX” is that it combines all the wavelengths of Alexandrite, Diode, and YAG lasers, which are currently considered effective for hair removal.
